Royal Golf

Course Description

Our view: Traditional course steeped in history, 9 hole extension in 2008 by Gerry Watine and being upgraded over the next year to include a new club house. Three nine hole courses of which we recommend red and green.  These are a combination of parkland and woodland surrounded by trees and 5921m off the whites. Hire their excellent caddies to help you enjoy this pleasant and friendly course conveniently close to the city.

A majestic golf course commissioned by the Pacha of Marrakech and opened in 1933, making it the oldest golf course in Morocco.  Churchill and Eisenhower have played here so you will be in good historical company.  Royal Golf is very different to other courses in Marrakech with its towering trees lining most holes.  You will feel like you are stepping back to a more opulent and discerning time. The most famous hole is the 15th nicknamed locally as ‘Bridget Bardot’.
